well, there was no pitocin...

Margaret Frances was born via c-section at 1:32 this afternoon after some serious decels that followed the AROM. The cord was wrapped twice around her neck and up under her arm. She's perfectly healthy and sleeping beside me. She's 22 inches tall and weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces. We can't believe how much she looks like Charlotte, but with more and darker hair.

Ugh--sorry for the c-section, but thrilled she's here and healthy & that you are the same. Can't wait to hear more about her & meet her!

Congrats B! She's beautiful and has such a fun birthday! I hope the recovery is going well and that you're not too disappointed about the c-section. She's here safe and sound and at the end of the day that's all that matters.

Look at that gorgeous chunk of baby! She's delicious, and so alert! We too ended with an emergency C-section after decels. Scary stuff, so I'm very glad she's here safely.
