22w6d- presence known on the outside

Today was another milestone. Before I got out of bed this morning (no easy feat these days, since I've begun piling pillows around myself to keep from rolling onto my back at night- I'll discuss sleep another time), I felt a pretty dramatic nudge from Ishkabibble. Half asleep, I put my hand on my belly in the same spot, and Ishka did it again. For the first time, I felt the baby move from the outside. No repeat since those first nudges, so I wasn't able to share the sensation with C, but I'm sure that will happen soon. Ishka tends to be very active during and right after dinner, so I'll make sure C stays within arm's reach tonight.

EDD is in exactly 4 months, or 17 weeks from tomorrow. If anyone asks me what I'm thankful for this year, I'll rub my belly, smile and say, "The people in my life, even the ones I haven't met in person yet." And that includes YOU.

Isn't that amazing?! Today I discovered I can even see the baby move. My husband started poking back, and baby responded. I love it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Incredible! That is so friggin cool! I bet that feels like the oddest and most wonderful thing.

And you-- yes please, let's meet up in january or early february if we can swing it. Schedules may need to be nudged based on cycling or not.. blah blah blah but your inbetween town is fine with me, I just will trust my GPS.

Happy happy thanksgiving to you,

I was similarly thankful this year. last year on Thanksgiving I was nothing but angry because "everyone" was pregnant but me, and little did I know that little Miss B's tiny heart was already fluttering inside me.

Happy Thanksgiving, and to many more with your little Ishka! I'll be waving in your general direction on my way back to NYC from your neck of the woods on Saturday.
